Our Model

[our model]

GAPS believes in a model of partnerships that allows for a direct and equal interaction between people and communities in developed and developing countries. We aim to break down the barriers between donor and recipient so that the relationship becomes one of equality that is rewarding for both sides.

GAPS believes that supporting communities in developing countries is not just about a financial contribution. It’s about entering into a real dialogue, supporting cultural exchange, and sharing ideas. It’s about establishing friendships with real people and realising what we have in common.

Aid is often about giving to the outstretched hand, but it can also mean giving a friend a helping hand.

By entering into partnerships for development, you establish a unique relationship, and make a unique contribution.
